In September 2018, I packed up and moved back to Singapore. It wasn’t an easy transition for me culturally and environmentally, but I’ve somewhat managed to make do.
However, I didn’t get to do much photography after. It’s not that I didn’t have the time to – detaching myself from the environment I loved really separated me from my sense of self.
After mucking around for a year and a half, with a trip back to Japan somewhere in the middle, I’m glad to say that I’m finally back to doing more photography and getting back to composing images.
On a sunny Friday, I took out my 5D from my dry box, cleaned it, and packed it in my work bag. When lunchtime hit, I decided to follow my coworkers to grab some food and shoot along the way.
The following images were shot during a 20 minute time frame of my walk to grab lunch and back. Hope you enjoy.
